Key vocabulary

    ¿Qué te pasó? What happened to you? ¿Qué tienes? What's the matter (with you)?
    ¡Uf! Ouch! caerse to fall down
    darle un calambre to get a cramp enfermarse to get sick
    estar resfriado(a) to have a cold estornudar to sneeze
    resfriarse to catch a cold tener un calambre to have a cramp
    cortarse to cut oneself darle un calambre for someone to get a cramp
    darse un golpe en ... to bump one's ... lastimarse to injure or hurt oneself
    quemarse to get a sunburn, to get burned torcerse (ue) to sprain or twist

  Below is a sample of answers using the different vocabulary words and phrases:
  Me di un golpe en la cabeza. I hit my head.
  Me corté el brazo. I cut my arm.
  Me caí en la clase. I fell in class.
  Me dió un calambre durante el partido de fútbol. I got a cramp during the soccer game.
  Me lastimé cuando corría a casa. I hurt myself when running home.
  Me quemé en el horno. I burned myself on the stove.
  Me rompí la pierna. I broke my leg.
  Me torcí la muñeca cuando me caí.  Ahora la tengo hincahda. I sprained my wrist when I fell.  Now it is swollen.
  Me enfermé todo fin de semana. I was sick all weekend.
  Tuve un calambre. I had a cramp.
  Estuve resfriada. I had a cold.
