In addition to correo electrónico, e-mail is sometimes referred to as un mensaje, un emilio, or un e-mail. Some people call the Internet by its more Spanish-sounding name of la red, but others refer to it as el or la internet or simply Internet.

		es	is	In Spanish the pronouns are not always used. One way to translate es is it is.
		de	of	De is used in Spanish to show possession. There is no apostrophe s in Spanish. Instead of saying George's cat, you say the cat of George.
		tu	your	your (familiar) Notice that this does not have an accent mark. With an accent mark tú means you. While without the accent mark tu means your. Use this possessive adjective, tu, as you would the subject, tú, i.e. when talking to another student, a friend, relative, a person about your own age, or anyone with whom you have a close, familiar relationship.

When talking to another person, to ask them their email address you would say:
	¿Cuál es tu correo electrónico?	What is your email address? Literally: What is your electronic mail?	Use this question when talking to someone, you. The use of the possessive adjective tu indicates that this is the familiar form of the question. It is used as noted above.
When asking about another person's email address, you would say:
	¿Cuál es el correo electrónico de Sergio?	What is Sergi's email address?	Use this question when referring to someone else. In other words you are talking about someone, a third person. In Spanish, there is no apostrophe s. Possession is expressed using the word de. So you are literally saying the telephone number of Sergio.

To answer either question, you would say:
	Es ______.	It is ___.	The subject of your response will be it. In Spanish the pronouns are not always used. One way to translate es is it is.
	Example: Es pe - a - ele - o punto ese - te - u - de - e -ene - te - arroba p - a - ele -o - eme - a -i -ele punto ce - o -eme.	It is palo.student@palomail.com.

To ask how to spell a word,you would say:
	¿Cómo se escribe ___ ?	How do you spell ___ ? Literally: How does one write ___ ?
	Example: ¿Cómo se escribe español ?	How do you spell "español?"

To answer:
	Se escribe ____.	It's spelled ___.
	Example: Se escribe es-pe-a-eñe-o-ele.	It is e-s-p-a-ñ-o-l.
